The American's Creed by William T. Page; Clerk of the House; 1917:

"I believe in the United States of America as a government of the people, by the people, for the people; whose just powers are derived from the consent of the governed, a democracy in a Republic, a sovereign Nation of many sovereign States; a perfect union one and inseparable; established upon those principles of freedom, equality, justice, and humanity for which American patriots gave their lives and fortunes. I therefore believe it is my duty to my country to love it, to support its Constitution, to obey its laws, to respect its flag, and to defend it against all enemies.

2010, 4 July: Declaration of Independence and Our American Heritage

This 4th because of the following absent information from elected Americans at every level of government, here is a Much Needed Relation of The Declaration to Every American including Naturalized, to The Constitution of The United States which provide the limits on government for the purpose of Protecting each Sovereign Individual and State.

For Every Principle Expresses in The Declaration, there Is a Corresponding Article and/or Amendment which Prohibits the Federal, State, County, Burroughs, City Government From Acting against the rights of individuals.  There are Twelve Lessons About American Character which also assist in defining the responsibilities of freedom:
1)THE PURPOSE OF ADVERSITY - Mankind are More Disposed to Suffer, While Evils are Sufferable

2) DUTY - When a Long Train of Abuses and Usurpations, Pursuing Invariably the Same Object, Evinces a Design to Reduce Them Under Absolute Despotism, it is Their Right, it is Their Duty, to Throw Off Such Government

3) IN GOD WE TRUST - A Firm Reliance on the Protection of Divine Providence

4) AMERICA IS BLESSED - And to Assume among the Powers of the Earth, the Separate but
                                                Equal Station

5) INDEPENDENCE - That These Colonies Are, and of Right Ought to Be, Free and
                                      Independent States

6) GIFTS - Endowed by Their Creator

7) LAW - Law of Nature and of Nature's God             Science and Scripture

8) SACRIFICE - We Mutually Pledge to Each Other our Lives, our Fortunes, and our Sacred Honor

9) LIBERTY - Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness

10) UNITY - We therefore, the Representatives of the United States of America
"Let the names of Whig and Tory be extinct; and let none other be heard among us, than
Those of a Good Citizen, and Resolute Friend, and a Virtuous Supporter of the Rights of
                       Independent States of America."(Common Sense; p 85, 122; see also John 17:11,12)

11) ACCOUNTABILITY - Appealing to the Supreme Judge of the World for the Rectitude of Our
                                             Intentions
"The Declaration of Independence reminds us that we will be judged by our
intentions as well as our actions. ... Perhaps many of the colonists remembered
the parable of the talents in the Bible (Matt 25:14-30) where people are
reminded that Where Much Is Given, Much Is Required."(A Guide for
Learning and Teaching The Declaration of Independence and U.S.
                                               Constitution; J. Andrews; p.81).

12) SERVICE - "The signers targeted by the British suffered the most. Whether by service or suffering, these 56 men made an accomplishment that has blessed millions of people with liberty over the last (234 years - Sunday, July 4, 2010). Their sacrifice generates a feeling of appreciation and a realization that they have given us a great gift. Our liberty today is the result of the spirit of public service of these men... The price we pay  to maintain freedom Is Far Less Than The Price They Paid to Obtain It. The least we can do is to read and understand these documents to carry the torch of liberty forward and pass it to the next generation."(Learn & Teach; p.84).  And to Never Let Another Generation move into adulthood without Learning and Teaching the  12 Lessons of  American Character from the principles of our Declaration and "COMMON SENSE". To each Individual going about his/her 'life and pursuit of Happiness' with understanding each one's personal responsibility to:  DUTY, ACCOUNTABILITY, GIFTS, SACRIFICE, LAW, IN GOD WE TRUST, AMERICA IS BLESSED, The PURPOSE OF ADVERSITY, INDEPENDENCE, LIBERTY, UNITY.

May our Candidates for every office, our seated Elected Officials, their Departments and Bureaus, at every level of government throughout Our Nation, love, respect and support the Two, Most Unique Documents in the History of Mankind to Date: The Declaration and The Constitution of the United States of America.

May the Senate majority of the United States of America learn and Teach the love, respect, understanding that the Constitution is not a law based on "cases"; but a reflection of the human nature of individuals who put themselves above the Supreme Law of the Land in the name of Pres.Obama's S. Alinski with his ethics of "means" .

Our Nation's Senators Need to Recognize the Difference between Power of this mistaken Administration
caught in their own-created messes and Duty.  Senators need to  Recognize when a candidate for Supreme Law of the Land Justice cannot demonstrate understanding of  Amendments and  Articles he/she is involved in deciding, the harm is to the United States of America and to the Truth this Nation has represented for all of the 234 years plus if you count "The Mayflower Compact", Common Law, and The Bible.
